UNA-Pasadena is proud to share that youth chapter member Abigail Vasko was selected to travel to Greece with Blair High School’s Health Careers Academy as part of the Global Medical Squad. In this program, Abigail will work alongside her peers at Blair to support a 4-day clinical rotation that provides primary health care services to refugees in Athens with limited access to medical care.
Through the Global Medical Squad, Abigail will spend four days supporting a community health clinic serving refugees in Athens who have limited access to medical care. Alongside healthcare professionals and fellow students, she will assist with patient triage, pharmacy operations, health education workshops, and community health initiatives, while also gaining firsthand experience by shadowing physicians.
