The Rotary Club of Pasadena is hosting its inaugural “Join and Thrive!” community event on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM at PasArroyo, located at 251 S. Lake Avenue in Pasadena. Doors open at 4:45 PM to kick off an inspiring event that connects local residents with community hobbies and volunteer networks. The event begins with a special screening of the celebrated documentary Join or Die from 5:00-7:00 PM, which explores why social connections matter and how joining clubs can alter individual and societal health. Immediately following the film, from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM, attendees can enjoy HomeState tacos while exploring the interactive Pasadena Joining Fair to chat directly with dozens of local service clubs, hobby groups, and civic organizations looking for new members.
General admission to the event is completely free, though registration is requested. For those looking for an upgraded experience, VIP tickets are available for $28.52 and include premium front-row seating, popcorn, candy, and soda, with proceeds directly benefiting Pasadena Rotary youth and community programs. If you are unavailable to make it to the movie screening, the Joining Fair portion starts at 7:00 PM and is entirely free and open to walk-ins.
UNA-Pasadena will be hosting a table throughout the Joining Fair, and we would absolutely love your support! This is the perfect opportunity to introduce your loved ones to our community, so please bring along any family and friends who are interested in joining our mission. Come say hello, learn about our latest initiatives, and discover how you can get involved. We can’t wait to see you there!
